Happy 2025! Now, What Are We Going To Do With It?
—
First of all…
Happy 2025! Let’s hope we all have a better year than last year was! That being said, I have a lot of plans for 2025! Now, Stitched Serenity is still very new, so I would like to establish some new things! This post will go over my new schedule idea, my sale schedule, our year-long project, as well as some plans and goals!!

First of all, my goals!
I have quite a few goals for 2025 that I hope you will be able to help me with! I’m so excited to get started! Here are some of my goals!
- Make at least one sale a month.
- Be more creative.
- Make my own patterns.
- Make you smile!
- Create worth while content to entertain you!
- Start and work on my secret big project that I will be showing you guys!
- Reach 100 followers on Facebook or Instagram.
- Reach at least 10 reoccurring readers on my blog!
Plans!
I have a few plans for some projects already thought out that I would love to share with you!
- I plan to get better with posting on this blog and on my socials.
- I want to learn more about how to post and thrive on Pinterest.
- I want to explore more art forms, specifically, sewing, quilting and pottery!!
- I want to work specifically on Hunter’s quilt, on some children safe toys and on some more amigurumi(stuffed animal) project.
- I want to go to my first market, I have two in mind, and I’m sure it will come up in posts very soon!
My New Schedule!!
From some research, I have found that it is really important to have a schedule you stick to so you can grow. With that in mind, I set myself out a posting schedule that will keep me busy.
So, essentially, I want to post twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. My work week will start on Thursday, where I plan to make a concept post. These posts will come out around 3:30PM. Tuesdays will be project posts. Whatever I posted as a concept on the earlier Thursday, expect to see, hopefully finished, on Tuesday at 6PM. I plan to take Wednesday’s to refuel so I can start again on Thursday.
A week is not enough time to do super large projects most of the time. For larger projects, where I need to spend some time, I will spend the last week of the month working just on that. For example, here is January’s schedule.
January 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd will all be concept posts. 3:30PM.
January 7th, 14th, and 21st will all be project posts. 6:00PM.
If you notice, the 21st is the last project post of the month, but there is a fourth concept post, on the 23rd. That concept post will be a large project concept post, which will then be posted on February 4th. That gives me almost 12 working days for a larger project.
There are some days that my schedule may be a little different, but for the most part, this is my new schedule!
My Sale Schedule!
There is always a chance that I may do a random sale here and there, but I do have some scheduled sales!
First of all, there should be a sale going on right now! From the 2nd to the 8th is my Launch/New Year Sale!
Valentines Day Sale: Feb 7th-14th.
St. Patrick’s Day Sale: March 10th-17th.
Easter Sale: April 13th-20th.
I also intend to have a larger scale sale on my Birthday! So my Birthday Sale will be available on ONLY June 29th.
Halloween: October 24th-31st.
Black Friday/Thanksgiving: This is another large scale sale! November 27th-December 1st.
Christmas Sale: 8th-19th. My store will be closed the week of and after Christmas.
Our Year-Long project!!
I am so excited to share our year long project with you guys! This year, I want to do a temperature blanket. I live in the Midwest, and the weather here is always kind of crazy, so I’m very excited to see how this works up! I do not have the yarn yet, but hopefully I will be able to get it soon.
If you saw my “Biggest Tarantula Ever” post, you know how much I LOVE the African Flower Hexagon. With the help of a creator on Tiktok, I found a hexagon pattern for a temperature blanket. I will be making a hexagon according to the weathers high and low each day. I do already know the yarn and colors I will use, and I will show you a swatch when I am able to get the yarn.
Earlier, I said there would be no post in the last week of each month, but I will have a standing post at the end of each month to show you how the blanket is looking! For more updates on the temperature blanket, be sure to follow my socials!! Here is the pattern I will be following. The ‘B’ Hexagons are what we call ‘base hexagons’, basically, they will all be the base color!

Lastly, Our first Concept in 2025!!
Happy first concept!! This month, my mother and mother-in-laws birthdays are three days apart from each other. I want to make something small for both of them.
My Mother-in-Law’s birthday is January 7th, and I know that she likes Eeyore and other characters from Winnie the Pooh. She likes the little Octopi that I make! I want to make her something Eeyore themed. I need to put more thought into this one!
Now, for my mother, on January 10th, I want to make something cute she can bring to work for her desk. I’ve been to her work, and I feel like she needs a desk companion! Recently, I have seen this pattern on Etsy that I think she would LOVE. The Etsy shop is “The Chaotic Strawberry.” It is named a “Crochet Desk Goose.” And this is what it looks like!

I’m so excited to see how this works up!! I hope you’re excited to see it too! After this week, I will be free to make something with no pattern, and I’m looking forward to it! See you soon!! Happy 2025 again!!
